I hear ya Andy. Remember, this is a buyers market. There are a lot of boats out there for sale. He will come down at least some, maybe meet you half way or even better.  t^

Good luck in your search for an upgrade.  chrz

I own a 28ft Grady sailfish 2001 bought new no problems with the boat at all and very few with the Yamaha's.The resale is also one of the best with a Grady so i would highly recommend it.It also handles the slop beautifully

Much appreciated Ben.  I'm probably gonna call your buddy with the Grady back in a month or so.  See how willing he is to negotiate as well by then.

Does anyone have any insight on Sportscraft boats?  I have a line on a 26' 2002 WA with a 2002 250HP Merc EFI 2 stroke.  It's rigged with radar, outriggers, all electronics, hardtop, rocket launchers, the works.  Also comes with a trailer.  I've never heard of Sportcraft before, and I have no idea what the hull specs are yet and am wondering if any of you have any insight on how this boat handles.  What I have found is it looks like Sportcraft closed up shop some time in the mid 2000's, after this boat was manufactured.  Another company bought them out and kept the name, but I don't know if they are building boats to the same exact specs.
