Made a trip out to the park this morning for the wife to do a little fishing. As I'm still on the "IR List", my role was driver and bait boy.
She fished from 8:30 to around noon, incoming tide. Lots of eel grass in the water, but surprisingly it didn't cause to much hassle.
She got one short fluke on Gulp and every cast with bunker resulted in a skate.
There was lots of small bait in the water and the birds were working it hard.
Nicest part of the trip was the dolphin watching. They were cruising up and down the beach from 50yds off the sand to 300yds out. At times there were 6 or 8 pods within view.
Go full screen with the video and watch about the middle of the screen. There's 2-3 pods moving south.
