Had Chris Flatt and friends charter aboard for a day of fluking.
Headed to the grounds were we left them some big ones biting the day before... Found no drift and shorts... put in a honest effort waiting for something to change... managed 4 or 5 nice keepers but couldnt get a bite going.
Moved inshore to some sticky stuff... still was plauged with no drift... finally started to get a little slide going and we started to pick at fish. Lots of 16- 17 1/2 in fish... better we were picking a nice keeper here m there.
Started to bit a Little better latter in the day...The guys fished hard and we put in a long day.
By days end the the guys had 17 Keepers for the box and a couple seabass.
Slow picking but we made the best of it. Oh and we will never forget the one that got away on the hake
Seen some big blues crashing bunker inshore... which was nice to see
