Had Joe's Annual Fluke Charter today!!!
Back to the sticky stuff... first drift started out promising... 3 nice Keepers amongst some shorts.... had a nice n nw breeze and good drift went back again another nice Keeper. then the breeze flopped out, the drift died and the bite slowed up. Pounded the area hard making a bunch of little moves and we got a couple more keepers out of it.
Drift was slow so we bounced around some piles for an occasional nice keeper here n there and some short life.
Finally got some current and we found a nice patch of fish and picked at them for the rest of the day.
Congrats to Paul he was high hook with 9 Keepers( Only keeping a limit) showing the guys how to Do it. Joe had his personal best at 6 1/2 lbs... and we had a few more fish in the 4-5 lb range.
By days end the guys wound up with 23 Nice Keepers to 6 1/2 Lbs and a couple of seabass.
Very Nice day on the water!!!
Crew was Great thanks again guys!!!
