Na, just doing what I did for over 20 years in Emergency Management.  Hurricanes were my specialty.  I taught and designed programs to help first responders to prepare for hurricanes.

I still have many of the programs I used to track them.  So I thought I would share some knowledge with you guys.

Okay here is the latest poop on the hurricane,  It is pretty much a no threat to us at all.  As you can see it will be turning out to sea pretty quickly as the upper level trough guides it away from the coast.  Once the upper level begins to rip it apart it will be history.

It is still worth watching though.  If it breaks trough the trough things can change quickly.

2nd is T.S. Earl....this one has more potential of the 2 to impact the east coast based on the forcasted track (note the RED Track line on this storm)if this one develops properly...this could possibly turn into a Cat III Hurricane and make landfall on the mid to northern portion east coast.

i shoulda been a weather man....this one will be alot closer! ...AND A Cat III AS WELL.

A lot can happen between now and when it gets up into our latitudes.  First these storms hate cooler water which we have.  Second it hates upper level sheer which it will get from the upper level trough coming out of Canada and the Great Lakes.  My guess it will turn North North East and take somewhat the same track as Danielle but all we will get is more erosion and high surf.  Unless things change.

The one I am watching is the 3rd storm.  It is lower in latitudes and well it should ride closer to the coast line.  But it is a long way off and counter acting fronts could change that.

The experts are issuing an 80% chance that this could turn into a tropical cyclone with in the next 48 hours.
