Heading to Island Beach Sunday afternoon.  Anybody going to be around there?

Wifey wants to go to the beach on Sunday.  That means I should be out on the island fishing somewhere, but it will be in the earlier part of the day.  Gimmie a holler on my cell, I messaged you my number.

Will do.  I probably wont get there till 4 or 5ish in the afternoon.  Have to put brake lines on my car, then get firewood, bait, food/drink and all the other stuff to keep the non fishing beach goers happy while I selfishly fish! O and drop my daughter off at the parents house!

Didn't get on the beach till 730. After setting up shop I decided to mess around with a black ava for a little while until the tide came in a bit more so I could chuck bunker.  Ended up catching a small blue on it, maybe about 14".  Other than that and 100 or so mosquito bites I got nothing. No luck with bunker.  However the water was extremely clean. Huge difference from two weeks ago. And current and waves weren't as bad as I expected.

No beach to drive on.  Got on at first entrance and drove about 3 miles down and at some parts there was a nice little cliff right along the tracks. Drove until the tracks ended, unless you drove off the edge toward the water, and set up there.   Didn't want to risk getting stuck or anything worse especially with all the people in the car.

Good try Greg.  You landed one fish more than Jeff & I did yesterday.   TT^
