Need info. on Sandy Hook
« on: August 27, 2010, 10:43:39 AM »
I want to fish Sandy Hook tomorrow. I need to know how much it costs to get in, is there a parking fee? Also I want to get there by 4. Do I need anything special to fish during the night? What beaches there can I fish? Did I leave anything out? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I usually avoid places where there is a fee but I really want to fish the Hook.

Most of the guys chime in later in the day but I think the fee is around 5 bucks.  I don't fish up there to much as IBSP is my hunting grounds.

I know that there was roped off areas out towards the tip because of the plovers.  Not sure if they are down or not.
