Got out today on our bottom fishing porgy and seabass trip. Was able to drift all day and had pretty good fishing. A pleasure compared to the last few slow pick trips for fluke.
Catch was dominated by porgies with some sea bass mixed in. Very nice sized porgies with most catching at least 20. Sea bass catches ranged from a few to about a dozen. Pool fish was a 3lb seabass.
We will be switching over to full time bottom fishing after Labor Day so keep a watch here and on our website for updates/details.
