Sandy Hook Surf Early Sunday Am
« on: September 19, 2010, 09:58:29 PM »
Hit the surf at the Hook to throw some plugs
Took my new custom graphite 7 1/2 ftr. matched with a good mojo Penn 550 and mono with a double shock leader to a snap.
Plugs used, just at day break, where the White Pencil Popper 2 1/2oz.,then changed to a Yellow Bomber 5 inch and then finaly took a small Blue fish on a White Darter 3oz. BEAUTIFUL MORNING.
Seems my waders shrunk over the Summer after all the BBQ grilling, hamburgers, hot dogs and spare ribs. rofla rofla  rofla chrz
Home by 9:45am just in time to make breakfast for the crew and take the show on the road to visit with family.  t^ Im tired ,work in the AM.

Thanks for the report AJ.  I have a few new swimmers I will be trying out this year.  Darters are always a good choice.

I like to go to my Striper Swipers if all else fails.  It is an oldie but goody. Looking forward to getting out more often now that the tourist season is over and the locals have their beaches back.  So long Snookie... smk
