I guess the one thing is don't let Scott hold your rod. I hear her throws them in the water.

No offense, but there is way too much hardware on those rigs.  I'm certainly no expert, but what I've learned is that you don't need all those snaps and swivels for tog.  The simpler the better.  Just a hook (or two) and a sinker is all you need. 

 There was a rig there with no hardware. I found it helpful since it gave different type.
