Capt Don and BIRDMAN DON left Keyport at 6;30,out going tide,water calm and flat,Headed towards Bouy 1,looking for birds,not a bird in sight. 5hrug headed out to Bouy 19 in the reach,Started a troll with SHAD RIGS,read pleanty of bait on the recorder,still no working birds, 5hrug trolled up the chanel and started to read fish on the recorder,BINGO fish on a 25" clp Trolled the same area over and over,reading fish,caught another 25,25,23,22,19,NO KEEPERS.ALL IN ALL A GREAT DAY ON RARITAN BAY

Plenty of action, not a bad day at all.  t^

Saw several AH party boats down off of Belmar today. Long, long run...but they did find fish.  TT^
