Headed up with Stelly and Mate Bruce during the past blow for a early shot at some Ny Trout and Salmon.
Headed up to a few of the peaceful uncrowded smaller tribs that run off lake ontario with of stash of fresh brown egss.
started casting at first light and it didnt take long and we each had a few Steelhead and domestic bows in 5-8lb class. Released them all very pretty fish with some awesome colors.
Bite slowed up a bit and we checked out an estuary and had some more action with another 7 nice trout including a Nice Male i caught just over the 10lb mark.
Grabbed some rest and tied up some more egg sacs
Went to the night salmon spot i got and it was loaded with salmon... i hooked up atleast 20 times in a hour. We landed a couple good hook ups so the guys took home a couple salmon for some meat for smokin. Battled and lost a ton of fish!!!
Few more Steelheads in the am and we were on our way back home!!!
Short trip but good times as always!!! Beautiful up there!!!
No Browns yet but im going back before blackfish season for a couple of days
