Headed out with Shrimpman Steves Charter for a day of Blackfishin (c&r) with an all star Crew... Mr Caynon, Jimmy Mac, Mike, Johnny Tomatoes, and Eric the mortgage man rounded out the crew.
Had high hopes of the lock n load action of nice size tog like the past two previous days... But it wasnt the case.
Got setup and had a couple of fish... had some life but the bite never got going good.
Same story every where we went... get setup get a few fish and just when ya think they were gonna start the stopped.
Still picked some tog of every drop... fished from 25 -70 ft
Got a little bit better bite going late in the day and the icing on the cake is Vinny was celebrating before the fat lady sung and shrimp boated a 6 1/2 lber to beat out Vin
Crew was great... was hoping for a better bite and some bigger fish but the guys fished hard n scratched out a decent #of keeper tog released for another day.
Kept 1 for everyone only the nice roasters in the 4-6lb range. AlsoThrew back way to many nice seabass.
