Phyllis Ann - Barnegat Bay - 11-06

Met up with Bucktail Bob and Jason for a late afternoon bay trip. Decided to use live bait this trip since the action has been far from great.  

Put 2 dozen spot in the live well and headed out to the bay..  stopped on a few location with no takers for our striper candy.  Decided to hit the inlet.. worked some large rips keeping away from the 6-7 foot rollers coming in.. as bucktail was texting his last rights to his wife ;D

8-10 drifts produced one striper.  My first for the Phyllis Ann. t^  Dinner for Jason t^

Nice afternoon Rod.  It was my pleasure to net your first keeper on the Phyllis Ann.  Congratulations! t^

It was great to meet and fish with Jason D. as well.

As far as last rites, I don't know if I was in more trouble drifting that inlet or coming back home to my wife after running out early on the garage sale to go fishing. nosmly ;D

And pretty cool watching the guys launching their jet-skis a good 12' in the air on the rollers.
