Irish Ayes bassing 11-14-10
« on: November 14, 2010, 06:29:01 PM »
After a week of high winds we were finally able to get out today. Had Bob G, Johnny Oz, Andy and Peter on board. Headed out SR inlet into about a 5 foot easterly swell. Continued east and stopped about two miles out on some nice marks.

Lines in the water and within minutes I hooked up and boated a 30" bass. One for the box. t^ Shortly thereafter Johnny Oz boxes a 29"er. Then it was a bluefish fest.

Boxed a half dozen big blue fish and released twice as many. Bite continued until about 11am then the switch was turned off.

Didn't get another bass all day and the blues were very sporatic in the afternoon.

Back to the dock and cleaned up for another try at it Tuesday. Will be targeting tog and possibly switch over to bass (or visa-versa). Hopefully we will miss the rain that they are calling for.

Still don't know when the boat is coming out of the water.

No pics, camera is still inoperative and santa says to wait till Christmas for a new camera.  :P

Good to see you were able to get out and give it a shot.I'm sure  the winds during the last week have been difficult to work either trolling, drifting or jigging. t^
