Fish Monger 11/30 Nasty Early Day / DUFFMAN DANS 14LB Blackfish!!!

Had Bagel Boy Genes Charter today.

Talked it over with Gene and with the small craft and winds not supposed to come to the afternoon... Decided to give it a go we were hoping aleast for a nice morning.

Was greeted to an evil inlet in the am with the outgoing tide... but wasnt bad once ya got passed it.

Got to the grounds and got setup... actually wasnt too bad ... took a few minutes to start getting a few bites... Then a few shorts n a couple keepers.

Started to get a chew going but the Wind and seas came on pretty quick N early... making it tougher... but we picked at a few keepers with a couple in the 4-6lb range.

Duffman Dan Hooked a good one but it came unbuttoned half way up... real heart breaker but a half hour later got redemption when his rod doubled over again and up to the net came A 14LB SLOB It Was 28 1/4 in fish was fat like a football!!! Some way to break the 10lb Mark Congrats Dan!!!

Picked at a couple more keepers... but the seas and wind just cont to get worse... decided to pull the plug and head for home.

Wound up with 15 Keepers to 14lbs... couldnt really move or shift with the ocean so we made the best of tough conditions on 1 Drop before callin it a day early. Back to the dock by lunchtime.

Congrats to Duffman Dan who had his personal best at 14lbs 2oz to go along with his limit!!!

Made the best of a short day with tough conditions.

Gene and crew were great as always. Just didnt turn out the way we all hoped. Hopefully mother nature will be nice for their next one in a couple weeks.

Thanks Boys.  Fish of a lifetime for me!  Beat my personal best by 5 lbs!

To say it got snotty on the way in is an understatement!  Big rollers and TIGHT!   Jerry got us in and Wayno jumping around making sure everything was secured and everyone was comfortable.  Thanks Captains
