Car audio equipment for sale!
« on: December 03, 2010, 07:36:15 PM »
Have this stuff laying around and sick of looking at it.  Doubt any of you guys are interested, but maybe you'd know someone who is.  I'm asking $300 on Craigslist, which is an insane deal, but I'll take $250 from anyone here.

1 - 12" Kicker Solobaric L7
1 - Q Logic Ported enclosure
1 - Kenwood Excelon KAC-X20 2-channel 1000WATT Amplifier
1 - Kenwood KAC-6402 4-channel 400WATT Amplifier
2 - Kenwood KFC-1390ie 5 1/2" 2-way speakers w/ oversized mounting plates to 6 1/2"
2 - Kenwood KFC-P507 5 1/4" Midrange Drivers w/ oversized mounting plates to 6" x 9"
2 - Kenwood Crossovers
3 - Rockford Fosgate Power Link/Fuse Blocks
1 - Tsunami 1.5 Farad Capacitor
4 pairs of RCA Cables

Enough power, ground, and speaker wires to wire a decent sized car. This was enough to put 2 amps and the enclosure in the rear hatch of a 2006 Nissan Xterra.  This would be everything you'd need for the ultimate car audio system minus the head unit (receiver)

You would have to explain what all that means to me before I would even thing about looking at it. I'm still changing the 9v battery on my transistor radio.  ;D

Good luck with the sale Jason.  t^

Different speakers for highs and lows (trebles & bass), and amplifiers to boost the power to the speakers making them louder and more crisp without distortion.  The subwoofer enclosure puts out the deep low bass.  The capacitor holds power like a battery so when the amps are pulling power, they pull it from the capacitor so things stay smooth....basically so your dash lights don't dim when the kickdrum pounds.  Crossovers will separate the high and low frequencies and send them to the proper speaker.

Does that help make a little sense Joe?

i will ask my friend who was looking for new speakers for his car.  he just bought my old head unit, and wants door speakers.  but the L7 is worth the 250 alone.

Yeah man.  Great sub right there.  t^ All this package needs is a head unit to have a damn fine system. Maybe a set of tweeters.  They got left in the Xterra along with 2 7" monitors in the headrests.

Aint it the worst having spent all that money and now can't stand looking at it? I have several amps left from my fast and furious days and no one seems to be into it no more.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
