Had our reg customer and great friend Ralphies charter aboard for a day on the blackfish grounds... Ralphy jr, Warren, Party Arty, Mikey and Joey rounded out the crew.
Headed back to the grounds where we had the awesome bite on thurs.
Got setup and only had a few scratchy bites... took a while to get the first few keepers... then we picked at a couplle but the bite was tricky.
Ralphy Jr had the hot hand early landing his a bunch before eating the sandwiches...
Lots nore smaller fish
Warren then hooked a real beauty at 9 1/2 lbs... We also got a Nice 24in cod.
But never could get a good bite going...
Shifted around different sections waiting for them to chew... But it was just a one here and one there pick.
The guys fished very hard for todays box of blackfish.
By days end we caught 38 Keeper size... with everyone taking home a legal limit... few fish in the 6-9 1/2 lb range... 1 Cod and a lone Lingding.
Crew was great!!! Loads of laughs!!! and made the best of a tough pick!!!
