Took the boat out today for its final run of 2010 and she will go to sleep next week...
Left the dock with my sons buddy Anthony, and my Buddy Capt Chuck from the Kalli boat....
Made way out to the New Grounds and couldn't get to where i wanted but came close enough and picked at fish... got a call from the Mongers that they had an INSANE bit going on just a bit to the south of me... by the time we decided to join them the terrific bite they had died out... so made the trip back to where i started... this time i had enough room to get on my piece and it was lights out fishing for a super quick limit... no giants, biggest going 8#, but nice 4-5 lb fish and some giant ling filling both livewells to the top...
awesome day to finish the season with the boat as it was flat calm all day and not to cold...
may do a open boat or 2 before my surgery on Jan 5th.....
