a friend of mine has consistantly had Flounder in his clam rake for the last 2 weeks in Raritan...alot more than he was seeing last year at this point in time....could be a good sign!

Fished Oyster Creek yesterday, most of the outgoing. Saw 3 flounder caught between maybe 7 guys fishing. Not bad, being everyone was targeting bass. I had two suspect bites also, but hooks were a bit big for the flounders... So... I'll chalk the lost bloodworms up to the small mouths and big hooks! Soon.. Soon...

Sent three fat 13-15" ers back swimming today  thud. Fished the outgoing, northern barneget bay. The flounder were really on the feed today but the bass were not (at least where I was ).  I could have caught fish all tide if I was using small hooks. The water was warmer than I had expected at 46deg. Thanks to the guy with the thermometer if you are reading this.

Going flounder fishing today, I live in Bayonne so debating if I should go fishing in the Raritan or head to the Mantaloking bridge.  Not sure where the bite is yet.  I will post my results.

Just came back from fishing.  I decided on going to the Mantoloking Bridge.  Unfortunately, the only action was when a guy lost the top half of his pole in the water.  Hopefully better reports to come.  Anyone else have good locations for flounder?
