In the spring when the striped bass go into the shallow waters because it is warmer there do the bass go into those shallower waters at hightide then come out on low or just stay in those shallow waters durung high and low tide.

Bass go into the shallows that to feed, have seen some nice 20-25 lb bass tailing in 1-2 ft of water in the rivers.  There on both the flood and ebb tide
