Hey all...I finally ventured out this season. Took the all day Tog/Cod trip on the searcher. Did really well, seven people on board and everyone pretty much limited on Tog (except me, i only had three) plus plenty of shorts. I was also the pool winner for the first time in my life too bad there were only three people in it...good for the mate I guess.
This was my first tog trip and I really enjoyed it, nice fish to catch.
A couple people did really well with cod although I did not bring one up. Is there a different method to cod over tog? Do cod not like clam? The people catching cod were using clam and crab.
Overall had a good trip, Searcher ii out of BL did a good job and put us on the fish which is all I can ask for.
Now I just have to choose from the abundance of Blackfish recipes across the net, not sure if I want fish and chips or something fancier
