First I want to congratulate my daughter Hallie on winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 3 equestrian classes this morning on her horse. clp clp Her smile was priceless and I'm a very proud Dad,  t^

Today we got a late start and it was the first day out with my regulars Cashin and Steve "Massbaster" this season. When I got to the boat after the horse show they had it all prepped, warmed up, bait cut,and lines rigged!
 We pulled out of Keyport at the top of the tide and we fished the outgoing around 2:30PM. We had clams and head out to our spots in the Raritan bay. Once we got set up the bites started picking up. We caught nine Striper's and three of them were keepers. I did not notice much action on other boats in the area. The traffic was very light today. We made one move and that produced some nicer fish. We did good for a quick 4 hour trip.

 Chris and Steve found a latex glove in the 34" Striper belly while cleaning it. Maybe a new secret bait?? :headscra:

 It was great to have the guys back on the boat. At the marina I ran into warren, "WB" launching his slick Grady White. t^ We have to hook up soon buddy. ;D
