Hit the park in the fog.
« on: April 20, 2011, 10:23:45 PM »
Well we had our first trip out to the park today.  After a bit of misinformation this morning we finally were able to get my cousin her son and my Uncle out despite the dense fog.  We were throwing clams or should I say I was throwing clams as I was the designated caster, bait boy, driver, navigator, etc.   We started down at the pocket even though you could not see it. Nada.  Moved up the beach a bit ans the same.  This first trip was a short one as my cousin was not really into fishing it was more for her son which was okay I guess.

After talking to some of the regulars today the hot spot was Gilikins around sunup.  There were a bunch of fish caught in that area.  I will have to make the trip again next time it will be solo or with someone that does fish.  Man am I tired.

Got back home and they watched me clean off the veh. said our good buys and I crashed.  I'm getting too old for all that work.  I thought this was suppose to be relaxing... fcp

Happy Catching

Paul

Still got out Paul.  I'm dying to wet some lines.  t^

I hear ya.  It is always good to get out there but I usually like to do the first one of the season by myself for some reason.  This year was a bit different.  I might gry and get out Friday morning for a bit by myself.  We will see.
