4/22 RB Stripers
« on: April 22, 2011, 07:57:48 PM »
Had my bride out for a few hours this afternoon to catch the outgoing. A great count on the clammage the other day enabled us to skip the bait store and have right at it.

Got setup as the tide started ebbing and enjoyed a sporadic bite for a couple hours under overcast skies with shorts v. keepers running right at 1:1. Kept 2 for the table and released the rest. Christine was on helm duty with a side of NET! as it was a tad brisk for her.

What changed from Weds.?

it was daytime
it was outgoing tide
the clams were 2 days older, they kept well on ice
Tombo was nowhere to be found

knowledge is power
it was nice to get the first bassesiz of the year on YSA
