Headed out for another day on the blackfish grounds... Eric The Mortgage Man, Ralphy Iron Fish, Bruce, Brendon, Andrew and Had Rounded out the crew.
Breakin the inlet Was greeted with pea soup fog and leftover Se swell, Headed back to the are where we found the most life on last trip.
No wind but we had a strong south current... got a keeper and a short immediately, but bites were tough to get... after a while we started to build a little life picking at a few more keepers. Prob should have stuck with it but wanted better.
Bounced around all day and never got a bite going... action seemed to just get slower... couple spots were pretty dead just a fish here and a fish there... not even much short life... few spots had some short cod with a Couple keepers mixed in.
Def was hoping for better life. Slow Day and tough bite...The guys were great and fished hard all day.
We wound up with 16 Keeper Blackfish and 4 keeper cod.

Weather looks dicey all week with a hard south blow hoping to get back at for a couple more cracks on fri and sat. then will be jigging bass and doing some ling fishing in May
