Raritan Bay....Tough one for us Today....

Had NJSWF Member Laker Taker along with Jimmy,Jimmy2 and Stogy Bill onboard....Little windy to start the morning....or so i thought....that was not wind....that was a breeze as we would later find out....Ran to a couple shallow haunts with just a few hits and nibbles to show...picked up and ran East and set up on great marks...10min and fish on and in the boat a 33 incher....that was the only fish but still marking....then came the WIND...and man did it come....Ran further EAST and set up in some nasty ass conditions...tried to get it going but was not happening....back shallow to try again....nada...put out the stretches...2 minutes and FISH ON.....THEN FISH OFF! 5hrug
circled around the area but no more takers....trolled the Shrews on way home to see if any Demons around yet....not yet
The boys worked at it today with little to show.

Just got home, You always want to catch the limit but, some days it's not in the cards. Tough conditions but, Carl and mate worked their AZZs of trying to produce for us .  All and all an enjoyable day.  Thanks Carl slt

It was a south wind at Shark River today. Fishing always sucks in a southern blow.  :P

Nice attempt at it Capt Carl. I know you gave it a good shot.The Wind was honging 25 miles inland today; and I thought to my self,who ever is out on the water today is got to hang tough. t^
