Raritan Bay Report
« on: April 30, 2011, 11:30:35 PM »
Invite from Hunter II (Eddie)(Deck Boss Jersey Joe) Boat pulled out at 5:00 pm  to Eddie's secret spring bass spot.(Slack Tide)  Clam is on the menu.( heavy chumming ) About 1/2 hour in to the spot we have one on and it's a keeper, great start. Fished for about 2 more hours and nothing, Moved to Eddies special trolling spot (lol) with shad rig on the port and stretch 25 on the starboard, 5 minutes in Jersey Joe Shad Rig is taking line, pulled it in and ( 2 ) Keepers on the Shad Rig. We remove the 25 and put a bunker spoon in it's place....(lets troll) 5 minutes into the troll the lines are acting strange so we back down on the throttle to check the the lines on the way in (BAM) something hits the shad rig #4 keeper is in the boat. Now both polls are set up with shad rigs and let the troll continue. We ran for about 1/2 hour more with not sign of action so we decided to head in and make it an early night   . (   :'( )(GOOD TIMES...GOOD FRIENDS...NOTHING GETS BETTER THEN THIS... ;D

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
