Capt Wayne and Nate the Mate had the Andrew Donaldson Charter and Crew aboard today.
Wayne headed to the same area we had the most jig life at yesterday. Seen a few fish swirling and had some reads...Picked up one pretty quick but the were very hard to come by... Bounced around looking for a Good shot of them but only picked a few more fish. The guys caught a total of 5 Stripers with 4 being keepers.
Action was pretty slow so the guys opted dunk a few clams to try for a few ling... made a drop in 60 ft and had a slow pick of ling one here one there but the guys managed to box up a bunch to add to the pot along with one keeper cod. Good to see some ling moving close to beach.
Tough day but the guys mixed it up n scratched out a catch and made the best of what the ocean offered. Most we talked to had similar action with a Picky bite on the Stripers
By days end Jigged 4 Keeper Stripers and added 30 big ling and a cod to box.
Wayne said Andrew and company was great as usual.
