Ken and his buddies were back for their annual Cinco de Mayo pregame fishing trip! Great to host the party again, Thanks Guys! The morning, found tough wind against tide conditions and had scattered bites. The guys stuck through to the change of the tide. On the first bit of outgoing we started to create a bite, we worked for the last hour of the trip, dealing with very subtle bites, and strong wind. Finishing up the 6hr trip with 9 fish, 1 of which was released.
Today brought less wind and better fishing, on the incoming tide. Dave Weiss and his guests put together a limit catch of Striped Bass. With a large majority of bites coming in a window towards the end of the tide, we got a shot of 4 on and steady bites until we lost the bite to slack tide. We re-setup for the outgoing water which provided the rest of the fish we needed for our 5 man limit. Great weather today and great guys aboard!
