Had Weldon Blunts charter aboard for a day on the ling grounds.
Headed back to where been catching well... got setup and had a quick blast but then it slowed up. swell def had the shallow water bite off a bit compared to the beginning of the week but we still managed to pick a few.
Had to make alot of shifts and picky bite it was a one here one here type. Good news is they were mostly med to large we didnt see to many little ones.
Had to work for them but the guys fished hard to put some fish in the box and we rewarded with a nice ling dinner.
By days end we boxed up 70 nice size ling.
Kept our eyes open on the way in to jig some bass but didnt see much.
Weldon and crew were a blast as usual looking forward to having them back aboard for a seabass trip!!!
