On Sunday we hosted the Bill Anderson charter along with the President, Teddy Roosevelt (Glenn), and friends. We left the dock at 11am and coming up to a moon tide found the slack water we arrived on to be very short before it switched. With the water incoming and a strong south wind, we didn’t find the bites we’d hope’d for on the shoal, only bringing a couple Bass to the boat in the first hour of the tide. We made a move, and found super strong currents on our chosen ground. Knowing we still had a good part of the tide, we up’ed the lead, and waited it out. Just after the strong tide peaked, the fishing turned on. We had numerous shots with 2 and sometimes 3 fish on at a time. By the time we reached the end of the trip, we had 2 Bass for everyone to take to the table, and released some. Another great time, bass fishing with great guys!
