Been a rough bite for us since the great fishing on the 31st...Seems the best of the action has been very early or late afternoon with the live bait.
We go through this every season, and this year is no different.
I read the reports at night knowing where we fished all day the bite would turn on, and it has. Not much we can do about it except hang in there and give it hell each day. We quit last season on Fathers day....naturally, the next week and a half fishing got good again.
Will see what happens the next couple days then make our call. We have never been one to toss in the towel unless it becomes hopeless!
The fact that many of the regs are starting to abandon ship also has allot to do with it...
