Fishguts 6/6 wreck/stripers
« on: June 06, 2011, 09:09:39 PM »
Today I ran a wreck trip with boat regulars Ed and Hal.Real nice conditions but a slow grind with the keeper seabass. Good action on shorts with a nice showing of sand eels so the fishing should only pick up. The keepers that the guys landed were real nice with a 2lb avg. The 2 anglers boxed 32 keeper seabass and one ling. On the way home Capt Jerry made the call that the bass were up so a quick turn around put us on the meat. Thanks Jerry. Lights out action with stripers to 35 lbs made for a great way to end the day. I even got a chance to wave to Capt Joe on the Irish Ayes.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
