Angling Advocacy Volunteers To Publish Anglers' Cookbook

The New Jersey chapter of Recreational Fishing Alliance (RFA-NJ) will be publishing an Anglers' Cookbook is set to include a collection of recipes submitted by RFA members and staff. The compilation of the members' favorite recipes, from traditional family favorites to long-standing hits at fishing clubs and parties, will culminate in a one-of-a-kind keepsake that will be made available for purchase in the coming months.

While the creation of the cookbook is being managed by the RFA-NJ chapter, funds raised from the sale of the book will go toward the national organization's efforts to continue to fight for the rights of anglers nationwide.

"Cooking has always been an important tradition in my family," said RFA-NJ Board Member and Cookbook Chairman Chris Peszka. "It is wonderful to give RFA members the opportunity to share their family's culinary history to create a unique keepsake, which also benefits a good cause."

Even though RFA members most likely have treasured seafood recipes, contributors can submit recipes in the categories of Appetizers and Beverages, Soups and Salads, Vegetables and Side Dishes, Main Dishes, Breads and Rolls, Desserts, Cookies and Candy, and This and That.

Submitting recipes for the cookbook is easy! Members can go to www.typensave.com. The Group Login for RFA members is rfacookbook11 and the contributor password is a8y7b. Members, as well as family and friends are encouraged to submit up to five recipes in any of the categories they choose. The deadline for the submission of recipes is July 10, 2011.

Members may also submit high quality digital photos for consideration for the cover of the cookbook. Photos in a jpg file format can be sent to the cookbook chairman directly at vpeszka@comcast.net.

The cookbook will be published by Morris Press Cookbooks, which has a long standing tradition of quality and personalized service, and has published millions of cookbooks for organizations since 1933. Once the cookbook is printed, members will be notified of details on how to purchase the finished product!

So dust off those recipe boxes and submit your favorite recipes before it is too late!
