8/3/11 lake ontario report

towed the HOW MANY up to the big lake for a brown trout trip.we fish in 85-100ft near the bottom for limit catches both days.the browns were from 5-8lbs we used stinger spoons.wire line dipseys out produced the riggers 5 to 1.we tryed for some salmon in 350-500 ft.but was cut short by storms,we landed 1 king and 2 lake trout before the winds and rains started.will be returning for a 7 day salmon trip in a couple of weeks,cant wait

Heading up next Thursday for a long weekend to rinse some flies and maybe get a derby fish. Back up for another long weekend two weeks after that.
Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.




My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
