Didn't quite make it to LER when my newbie to ocean fishing friend was chumming. Felt bad for him and returned to the bay and anchored up by the red ball and got a mess of king fish, 5 keeper sea bass, blow fish etc.

Some of my buds from the marina made the run to LER and GSSR and didn't return with any fish to clean.

Hit LER and NADA. The dragger's were still working the area. So even the shorts are gone now.  Hit my other spot on the way in, three shorts, one keeper.

I think my fluking season is over. I will stay in the bay for kings and head up the river for some white perch just so I can dirty my boat and enjoy the sun.
Good luck to anyone that tries to get out this weekend.

Almost forgot...Boddington in one hand and a cigar in the other by 2:30 PM     chrz

I will be going down to Tuckerton tomorrow afternoon to check on my boat. If anyone has a boat in that area and cannot make it down let me know and I will do my best to check on it for you.  I am getting a little nervous with the wind forecast.

Stayed in the bay today, and just anchored and chummed near the red ball.  Had some light tackle fun with the kingfish and small sea bass.
Called it a day after we had 25 kings in the cooler.

Back at dock with a Boddington in hand by noon.

Headed up the Mullica yesterday around noon, lost count of the White Perch I landed but I kept about 20. Great eating fish. Also caught and released about 20 Striper's up to 25 inches. It is great to be on the water on a day like yesterday.

Back at the dock around 5 pm. Hung out at the dock with some of my buds from the marina. Watched the sunset with a Boddington in one hand and a cigar in the other. Great way to end a GREAT day.

Heading down now to see if I can get some weakies as the sun comes up.

I was right by the brick pile at sunrise and I picked up three weakies real quick, all shorts, and I thought the morning had some potential. But those real quick hits were if for the  morning.

Back at the dock at 10 and it was too early for a Boddington.  :(

Am I the the only person fishing Great Bay?
