We did pretty well on the fluke this morning aboard the Pounder II, finding 4 keepers to 21" and a mambo seabass at the sea girt reef. What I really took away from this trip, and what I want to pass on to you all, was the outstanding performance of our yellow 4" gulp swimming mullets. We had primo bait today- big killies, live snappers, and bucktails- but almost invariably, the fish went for the gulp teasers or combos before our natural presentations.
Very interesting.
Good luck everybody
