With today's tide at 10:53AM Tom and I headed out to #7 Sandy Hook Channel to take advantage of slight winds so we could drift for Fluke with 2 oz of lead. We didn't have any heavy Spros© so had to just drag baits of Sea Robin strips, Gulp© and giant Killies that Tom skillfully trapped back at the slip.
There were plenty of short Fluke along the channel with Star Gazer and Sea Robins to keep us busy, no yellow-eyed demons to bother us. I landed two keeper Fluke at 19", but no keepers for Tom. We tired of waiting for the tide to start out and returned to our slip around noon. Pete
