Also want to thank Phil ( wreckfish ) for putting together another custom built ( blackfish ) rod for our trip, as many that made the trip last year remember, Phil made a beautiful custom rod that Paule won in our drawing so when he offered to do the same this year we jumped at the chance!

Phil forwarded the following specs to me and they are...


7 ft Blackfish Rod -Build on a Calstar Grafighter GF700L blank - This is composite graphite which is idea for use with braided line.
Fuji braid ready guide wrap in a spiral wrap (Acid wrap)
Eva Foam Grips
Fuji Graphite reel seat that will fit the Newell reels

Sounds like another great setup and all who are on the trip get a shot to take it home!!

I will be installing this power pro line with backer onto a Tica Wreck Series WR348 reel that I will also be donating.

Just received work from Kutztownwayne that unfortunately, he will not be able to make the trip. He relinquished his two spots to the first two alternates on the list.

I will contact Al to make sure he still wants in. If not, his spot will go to one of Paul-e's guests.

I made reservations this morning to fish with Captain Jack on the Bingo on the Fri 11/4 marathon trip. Price is right and hopefully all those keeper sea bass everyone has been throwing back for weeks will make an appearance on my hooks that day.

Yeah Just got his e-mail as well Joe, He's going in for knee surgery after thanksgiving...At least he gets to get in on the striper fishing before that...

Good luck with Jack on the Bingo....He runs a great operation...Paule and myself took a ride with him last Jan 1st and did really well with the tog and some nice cod.....Had a great time....Won the pool with a 13 pound Tog plus a gift certificate for a free trip....might look into joining you on the 4th
