Off to a good start. First fluke is a keeper, two sea bass returned to the commercial guys, one blue. Could not find anyone to call in sick, solo today.Update later.
UPDATE: 6;4?pm Started out on the Axel Carlson in 70ft over rough bottom. Got that first keeper on the first drop, then picked about 10 more shorts, along with 6 Seabass, returned unharmed,a small Blue, and a Croaker. There were Bunker out there, but nothing on them. Headed out to the Manasquan Ridge to see what was going on out there. Picked 6 short Fluke and a few sea robins. I was hoping to see some Bonito or Albies, no readings at all. Wind started kicking up, headed home. Not bad for my first day back out on the water in a while due to the storms. Tomorrow I'm going to check out the Shark River Reef, see whats going on out there. <'((((><
