I have a couple of squid jigs I'm bringing as well.  What size Sabiki rigs should I have?  Colors?

Why sabiki--Squidin ?

IDK.  I have squid jigs.  Figured I would have Sabikis in case their was an opportunity to catch some other types of baitfish.  No? 5hrug

How long are you making you leaders?
Are the offset circles hooks?

5' leaders.  The Gamakatsus are offset.  The Daiichis are non-offset.

I'm snelling the hooks.  Since the eyes are inline (as opposed to a downturned or upturned eye) I normally wouldn't put the line through the eye.  However, I have seen where some people put the line through the eye from back to front.  I'm not sure if this is necessary and I'm thinking it can only weaken the line at the point of contact.  Any thought on this? 5hrug

Yes it is a chunking trip so it will not include lures and rods for any other type of fishing.

This is from our contract:

“This includes rods, bait/tackle & fish cleaning services that are not include if this were an open trip”.

So that is how I understand it Rod, no need to bring tackle.

Rick did you get my check today it should be there and yes I stamped it.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
