Just got some crappie news about my mom

 i'm thinking ill be away for awhile because i just talked to my mother and she has informed me that she need to go to robert woods hospital to clear blockage in her carotoid artery's. One side is 60-74% blocked the other side is 80-90% severe blockage. Their looking to put a stent in the one side and treat the other with meds. Their looking to do this soon as shes at a elavated risk for a stroke. Will let you know what happens. Wish her luck.

Thanks guys it means alot. Looking to do this monday morning. Shes 68 and smoked like a chimney for years.She started the nicorette gum 5 days ago and now only  smokes 4 a day! Dr.s are a bit nervous but say it should go smooth.

 I will keep you all posted and let u all no how shes doin. Like i said b4 thanks for the well wishes,thoughts and prayers.

She will be in good hands. My Dad had two done and it is very simple thing to do now a day's. She will fell better so just grab a fishing pole and do some fishing to get your mind off it and God bless your Mom she will be okay we will say a few words for her tonight.Arty

Thank you all, the support is great. I know it is a procedeure done a hundred times a day. As Some of you know my dad passed away october 28 1988,its  kinda close and well it brought back some memories
