Rod and Reel Help
« on: October 23, 2011, 07:02:10 PM »
Hey guys right now I have a shimano trevala 50-100 rod and a canyon hs-30. I'm planning on getting an avet sx raptor 6/4 2 speed reel for the shimano trevala rod. That will be my inshore bluefin outfit(just a bit lighter). As for the canyon reel the trevala is to heavy for that rod. What is a good jigging rod. I was looking at the black hole 350gram or 450gram rods, oti rods, and synit rods.

Thanks guys slt

One of my Trevala has the Canyon Reel Hs-18.  and that fits it perfectly t^

I think.. the 30's are too big for jigging..  w
When jigging the proper way. you need to stay light as possible..
But.. when landing the Trophy Tuna, The 30's the way to go ;D  So  I guess you need both ;D

I think it's time for Njoffshore to take a stroll through the NJSWF tackle shop Rod for a nice new Canyon reel ;D

Rod does have some sweet set-ups when it comes to BFT jigging t^
