Fished outOd MI this morning, we went north off Asbury. About 3.5 to 4 milesout. Birds working right and left from 8am to 2pm. Fish were just rlling on the surface and you could catch them on topwith poppers, but most came deep down bottom to mid way up. Huge globs of rainfish bait just rolling back and forth under the surface. A ffew keeper size Stripers.....BUT nothing in the 3 mile range all just outside. Caught some hge gator blues, my sons and I put the deadly dicks to work and green AVA seemed to be the preferred today by the big fish.
