Tbone,
Thanks for coordinating and sorry for the long delay....
One hell of a day bangin the toggies. Quick recap of my recollection
Capt Chad = Aces
Kooz got out of the gate early with a big beast. Put on his dancing shoes and got up on his toes. Easy street, thinking the WAWA award was his alone. Later in the day, Capt Don Jr found his mojo and did a little barkin of his own. Poked the big pig at 10.5# and wrestled Kooz to the Mat just about whistle time! Cash in pocket you da man.
Excellent work by both!
The Catcher.... struck early with his trademark. Lifting a leg on the hydrant with two doggies to keep good on his new namesake. Later he made a galant effort delivering a couple of roasters and then pegged the best of the Bergals.... watcha ya say a 10"er? Have to verify with weights and measures!
Nick got off to a slow but steady start being all quite putting his share in the picnic basket. Nice job Nick until the Old Man weaseled in on your turf. Hey T, he's family, it's ok if he catches and you don't
TBone.... jonesing to get the best of the crew. Had to steal one from under your nose just to keep you honest. Strong finish and made some nice donations to the dinner plate. Can't beat a steady pick!!
Had a blast with some great guys and real good ribbing. Vittles were awesome...Portuguese rolls from Cumby, Kielbasa from the Polska girls out of Hillsboro, Outstanding fish soup from the AlPACA wool sock hippy!, Oysters from Metro (west coast rules, however, there were a couple of disappointments), Tastee subs and
just a couple of fresh beverages to take the edge of the swing!
