Son Made Me Proud As A Peacock!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my son made me extremely proud today. He was accepted in the Navy's Nuclear Engeneering Program.

Matt ships out for Great Lakes and Basic Train July 18. After that he heads down to South Carolina for 18 months of Nuclear Engineering Training. He had to enlist for 6 years to be able toenter the program. When completed he will basically have his 4 yr college degree and be authorized to run Nuclear Power Plants.

Extremely pround of his maturity, Decission to serve his country and utilizing his God given abilities.

ONE PROUD POPPA!!!!!!!!!!!

 slt congrats. Good field to get into even if the nuclear dont work at least hell be able to work in a boiler house or cogen plant t^

This is the premier Navy school.

Went thru this school in 1965 when it was only a year long.

New Nuclear Plants may be built in the future, if not the majority of plants running today are getting extentions.

Have been working at one for 39 years retiring soon.
This field has one of the premier salary ranges with starting engineers around 75k,
and reactor operators at about 85K
