Bandit IV Blackfishing Report - Saturday 1/28/12
« on: January 28, 2012, 05:16:20 PM »
Hi guys - just spoke with Capt Scotty at 5pm as he is heading back for the barn.  He said they had decent fishing today despite little wind with an opposing current which made anchoring a little tough at times.

Spent most of the day fishing 3 wrecks to the south of our inlet. High hook had 14 fish only keeping his legal Delaware limit of 10 fish.  There were 4 fishermen with limit catches today and the majority of the other guys had between 5-8 fish. There was a group of guys that had some tough luck getting a bite going.

Today's pool winner went about 7 lbs and the majority of the other fish were in the 4-6 lb class.  Both green and white crabs were producing bites today.

We have a couple spots open tomorrow. Give a buzz and get out for some fishing with us as the weather has been pretty decent for late January.

Sorry for no pics today. Things were a little busy at times but will try to have some with tomorrow's report.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
