I live in hunterdon county, I tow the boat over a hundred twenty miles round trip with my diesel truck getting about 10-12 mpg.  if gas hits 5, diesel is hitting 3.50 for sure...

Where are you getting diesel for less then $3.50 now?

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

Where is diesel even cheaper than gas?  I actually sold my powerstroke and went with an Expedition just to get off diesel pricing, I can't take it anymore.  If gas on water hits $5, Diesel on land is going to be $5 as well.  Last year diesel land prices were pretty much right in line with gasoline on the water.

sorry guys, meant to say 5.50. rgmn rgmn rgmn

Just paid 3.899 last week. I'm afraid when I pull in this week i'm going to see over four.  Took a trip down to hazlet this weekend and noticed diesel fuel there was in the 4.10-4.20 range.

I still don't understand HOW diesel can be more than gasoline...correct me if I'm wrong but its less refined.  I guess i have to go back to my college years of supply and demand.
It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

You are correct diesel fuel comes off the cat-cracker before gasoline so you would think it would be cheaper.
