Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

From an Al Ristori Atricle:

The tautog season is closed during March, but the inshore waters season for striped bass reopened Thursday in bays and rivers. Since stripers remained active off northern jetties throughout the mild winter, it wouldn’t be surprising if clams started producing stripers for Raritan Bay shore fishermen right away. The Tackle Box in Hazlet reports Captains Carl Dimenna and Howard Owens fished their Wet Dreams from Highlands in the back of the bay Thursday to catch 40 bass up to a 16 ½-pounder on clams, worms and artificial shads.
